Mullite is a kind of scarce minerals which is the only stable binary compound in aluminum silicate series. It is formed by artificial heating aluminum silicate at high temperature. Natural mullite crystal shows as elongated needle and radiation clumps.
Features:
1. High temperature resistance, it can achieve 1800℃.
2. Homogeneous expansion.
3. Strong thermal shock resistance.
4. Low creep.
5. High hardness (Moh’s hardness is 6-7).
6. Strong resistance to chemical corrosion.
Application:
Mullite is widely used for high temperature refractory materials.
Specification:
0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-8mm, 100mesh, 200mesh, 325mesh, or as customers’ requirements.
